Indian Wedding at Stockley Marquees Stockley Park
INDIAN WEDDING AT STOCKLEY MARQUEES IN STOCKLEY PARK UXBRIDGE – PAAYAL AND ANISH
The Stockley Marquee provided the perfect backdrop for Paayal and Anish’s beautiful wedding celebration. The 240 acres of stunning tree-lined grounds at Stockley Park Golf Course set the stage for a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. As I captured each moment through my lens, I couldn’t help but be amazed by the simplicity and elegance of their garden-themed wedding. The subtle blend of white and blush pink created a soft and romantic atmosphere, with bird-caged accents adding a unique touch to the decor. The Mandap ceremony was a sight to behold, with the beautiful surroundings enhancing the beauty of the couple’s union. But the magic didn’t stop there. As the evening turned into night, the Stockley Marquee transformed into a glamorous black-tie event fit for a Hollywood entrance. The black and gold theme added a touch of sophistication, with the casino-inspired reception adding an element of fun and excitement for the guests.Being a cultural wedding photographer in London, I’ve had the privilege of documenting weddings that celebrate love in all its forms. From traditional ceremonies to modern receptions, each event is a reflection of the couple’s unique story and personality. Paayal and Anish’s wedding was no exception, as every detail was carefully curated to reflect their love and commitment to each other. As a documentary wedding photographer, I strive to capture the raw emotions and candid moments that make each wedding truly special. From the tears of joy during the exchange of vows to the laughter shared on the dance floor, every image tells a story that will be cherished for years.Luxury wedding photography is not just about capturing beautiful images but also about creating an experience that exceeds expectations. Paayal and Anish’s wedding was a perfect example of this, with every detail meticulously planned and executed perfectly. In the world of editorial wedding photography, it’s all about capturing the essence of the day in an artistic and timeless way. My goal is to create images that not only capture the beauty of the moment but also evoke the emotions and memories that will last a lifetime.
The Traditional Indian Ceremony
The ceremony took place in the Main Marquee and was decorated with flowers, which was lovely. The ceremony included glitter confetti. It was a gorgeous occasion, full of so much love.
After the ceremony, we wandered around the venue doing portrait photos, which I love doing, and I got some gorgeous photos with the Hindu ceremony. The weather at this Indian Traditional wedding was glorious, it was a beautiful day.
The Reception
The reception was held at the same venue. The venue is perfect for weddings because the whole Marquee can be converted into a big reception room with a DJ booth, and Dance floor, and it’s got such a modern vibe, especially in the evenings when the party gets going.
For the reception, the couple had organised a Roulette table and casino styled party for their guests, and everyone really enjoyed it. Guests were then called for dinner, which was Indian cuisine – it was delicious.
THE PARTY
After dinner, they had their first dance, and the dance floor was packed all evening. The DJ played a mixture of Indian music and dance beats. Anish’s little Sister Neha sang their first dance song too which was just so emotional.
ADVICE FOR PLANNING YOUR WEDDING
Advice when planning an Indian wedding, get a family, friend or ushers to shout out the group shot lists or use the main mic of the venue. This way you will get the portraits done faster and the remaining guests can relax and have lunch in the meantime.

It was a wonderful occasion, Haroop has been going to the chriuch for a very long time. His parent house is only 10 meters away from the church. The reception was held at the Langham Hotel. The venue is perfect for weddings because a grand celebration, and it’s got such a modern vibe, especially in the grand hall when the room is full of people having a great party.
For the reception, the couple had organised an open bar for their guests, and everyone had a blast. When the guests arrive at the hotel, the lounge area had a sitar and tabla player for entertainment. this was so dear to the Haroops families and they are from north of India and wanted a traditional twist to their English wedding day.
