I love photographing Weddings in London and all over the UK. I have had the pleasure of shooting in Prague, France and Italy. Weddings are occasions that bring all the friends and family together. Connecting two people in some way or other everyone’s main aim of the day is to celebrate the most beautiful day of you both. I love capturing the day from the start when you both are getting ready, with lots of nerves and of course, the bridesmaids and groomsmen to keep you calm and assured until the first dance of the couple as married couples.
For me photography is mostly about capturing a moment in time, you can’t fake a spontaneous smile or moment that has been captured. I aim to capture your moments on your special day as if you were there at that moment in every photograph. My style is to capture the events to make sure it gives you everlasting memories. After what we saw in 2020, the world has changed the ways and adjusted the way we celebrate weddings. In 2021 I have shot 34 Micro weddings on weekdays and weekends with a big party later in the year or a couple of years later. There can be 4 guests at your wedding or 30, your celebrations your way. If you like you can get married on the canal boat or elope to Scotland, just the two of you. There is always an excuse to have a massive party afterwards. Many of my couples have chosen a restaurant or a pub like The Dickens Inn or Ombra bar in London for the wedding reception. Pub lunch or sit down roast, you can have anything you dream of. That’s the beauty of planning your wedding, your way!
What are the best locations around London to get married?
London city is the city that provides such unique landmark locations to get married. There is Shard, Sonia and David. For an ultimate view of the city from the height of the Shangri La to night lights. 10-11 Carlton House Terrace, Rebecca and Rob is the venue amid the central, convenient tube stations and a stroll near the river bank. To the Depot– Jessica and Anton for some good Pub and restaurant food and onto the canal boat wedding celebrations with a boat ride on the Regents canal entertaining your guest at the Ombra Bar – Lewis and Kenal, which does exquisite seafood and plates of pasta. There is an option to get married amongst your friend and family at the Pergola gardens, which has ultimate views of the gardens for an afternoon cocktail party and ceremony.
What to expect from your photographer On the day!
The day, in most settings, starts with getting ready at your parent’s place, an Air BnB, or a closet hotel room such as the Hotel Cafe Royal, Faria. Most venues have a suite you can use to get ready too. Surrounded by your closest friends and bridesmaids, you find yourself amidst a sea of wedding stationery and vibrant flowers, all meticulously arranged for me to capture. Every painstaking detail that you have poured over for months is finally materializing before your eyes. The inspiration you meticulously gathered from various sources, including vision boards and Instagram, has now been beautifully translated into reality. Your vision and wedding ideas come to like how you want them. I am not good in front of the camera.
I take great pleasure in building a rapport with you before your wedding day. It’s my goal to ease any nerves or apprehensions you may have about being in front of the camera. I understand how it feels to be awkward in such situations, but rest assured, I am here to guide you through it. It’s crucial for you to authentically express yourselves as a couple, and I will take care of all the technicalities and logistics to ensure beautiful and natural photographs. I tend to work around you two, let you mingle and enjoy a good stroll whilst documenting the intimate moments between you both. London has so much to offer when it comes to an engagement shoot. I took Amrita and Rob to Hyde Park for their shoot, and we did Charan and Pranav’s pre-wedding shoot at the Canary Wharf. There are also Holland Park, Regents Park, Regents canal walk, Shoreditch, Pergola Garden, and many more locations within a tube ride.
