Wedding at Trunkwell House in Reading Berkshire

Jordan and Isbah got married at the beautiful Trunkwell House, Reading Berkshire. It was fusion multicultural wedding, with flowers all over the tables and a Polaroid guest book to keep guests entertained.

The ceremony

The ceremony took place in a beautiful church and was surrounded by fields, which was lovely. The ceremony included the couple reading their own vows. It was a special occasion, full of happiness.

After the ceremony, we wandered around the venue for couples of portraits, which was the perfect time for me to get candid photos, and I got some really fun pictures of the confetti moment. The weather at this multicultural wedding was springlike, it was a lovely day.

The multicultural wedding

The reception was held in a marquee. The venue is perfect for weddings because you can have the place for the whole weekend, and it’s got such a romantic vibe, especially on the dance floor when the music starts pumping.

For the reception, the couple had organised an open bar for their guests, and everyone loved it. Guests were then called for dinner, which was a slap-up meal – it was delicious.

The party

After dinner, everyone got straight on the dance floor, and the party got started. The live musician kept everyone entertained all evening.

Advice for planning your wedding

If you are planning your multicultural wedding, I would advise having 2 sessions kept aside for your couple’s portraits. I love to capture you in both your outfits to show how much you loved your wedding outfits and represented your own culture, Isbah wore a white dress in the morning and an Indian outfit for the evening reception. They incorporated the cultural celebrations for both Isbah and Jordan’s sides.

Here is Jordan and Isbah’s story in photos.
