IF YOU LOVE SPARKLY THINGS THEN YOU’LL FIND SO MUCH INSPIRATION FROM THIS ROMANTIC CHURCH WEDDING!

Hollie and Will got married at the gorgeous St James Church, Gerrards cross. It was a super fun Romantic Church wedding, with so much color everywhere and an open bar to keep guests entertained.

The ceremony

The wedding took place in a beautiful church and was decorated with flowers, which was lovely. The ceremony included several beautiful readings from friends and family. It was a romantic occasion, full of lots of cheer.

After the ceremony, we had a confetti aisle, which I love doing, and I got some really special photos of the confetti moment. The weather at this Romantic Church wedding was springlike, but that didn’t put a dampener on moods.

The Romantic Church wedding

The reception was held in the ballroom. The venue is perfect for weddings because it’s so cosy and relaxed, and it’s got such a beautiful vibe, especially in the evenings when the sun goes down.

For the reception, the couple had organised delicious canapes for their guests, and everyone had so much fun. Guests were then called for dinner, which was a spit roast – it was delicious. A mix of Beef, Lamb, chicken roast, with Veggie options for someone like me.

The evening

After the speeches, guests tucked into the sweet table and had a go in the photo booth, and the dance floor was packed all evening. The Spotify playlist played all the best songs to get everyone dancing.

The evening ended with sparklers, which was incredible, and everyone had a great time. The whole Romantic Church wedding was so laid back, from the romantic vows to the last dance.

Advice for planning your wedding

The day was so beautifully planned, Hollie had her 4 bridesmaids to help her with getting ready and throughout the ceremony. The ceremony was held by Will’s father at their local church and the church were they met the first time too.

I really love this detail of the day as having your wedding at a place which has so much importance to you is absolutely amazing. Hollie was given away by 3 of her brother who in contrast to the couple is not at all religious and they were very respectful of all the readings and the songs are sung at the ceremony. The best part of the day was the speeches as you can imagine! 3 brother sharing their memories of their little sister were emotional and so joyous. My main memory of the speech was ” my mother had 3 sons and then decided to have Hollie to make sure she got it right the 4th time”. you can imagine the laughter in the room!

I loved this Romantic Church wedding so much. If you’re getting married and looking for a wedding photographer, get in touch.
